Dr. Machkaoutsan is Principal Engineer at Micron Technology, working on advanced semiconductor technologies in cooperation with the Inter-university Microelectronics Center (IMEC). He has contributed in the areas of device physics, transistor design, thin-film deposition techniques, and manufacturing process optimization.
Mr. Sivaramanivas Ramaswamy
General Electric Global Research, Bangalore
Mr. Ramaswamy is an expert in quantitative nondestructive evaluation of materials. His research in this field encompasses materials physics, nonlinear ultrasonics and image processing algorithms. His work has led to patented novel inspection methods with applications across many areas of industry.
Professor Abdul Hameed Toor
Department of Physics, Quaid-i-Azam University
Professor Toor is a theoretical physicist whose current work focuses on quantum information theory. He has also contributed in various capacities to the analysis of the role of science in world affairs, including as a visiting scholar at the Center for International Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
